By reaching the campus through a campus missionary, you’re impacting bright minds that bring the gospel to some of the world’s most influential workplaces. This month, we’re featuring Every Nation Campus missionary Erika Foushee and her story about a student that the Every Nation Campus chapter at the University of California, Los Angeles discipled and sent off to her new job at Google!

We met Cristen as a freshman through one of her friends from her hometown of San Francisco, California. A couple of weeks into the school year, we began discipling Cristen and she began reaching out to her friends. Over the years, several of Cristen’s friends began going to church and she began doing Bible studies with her roommates, two of whom were international students. Cristen will be taking a position with one of the most influential companies impacting culture in this generation, Google.  She will be moving to Singapore to work from the Google office there.

Cristen also shared about her experience with our Every Nation Campus chapter in her own words. Though she grew up in a Christian household, her growth as a follower of Christ gave her a deeper understanding of who God is, and who she is in Christ.

Looking back, there is so much God has done in my life, it’s hard to even relate to who I was before. I’ve seen God humble me, draw me closer to himself, show me how to receive and show grace, and experience his power and love at deeper levels. I think a theme for this year especially has been living in daily dependence on God and trusting in His sufficiency especially when I can’t see or understand the way. So often I just want answers, but God is calling me to deeper relationship instead.

Thank you for being a world changer that takes part in helping college students discover their identity in Christ, and sending them off to do what God has called them to do.
